發表時間: 2006.01 作品名稱: ExploAR作品簡介: 小弟我曾短暫接觸資訊視覺化(Information Visualization)領域，覺得很有意思，後來有機會進一步試試看能不能使用擴增實境(Augmented Reatliy , AR)來作為資訊視覺化的介面之一，便製作了這樣的一個作品。除了作品之外也對這項介面進行使用性評估。
作品說明:
「ExploAR」系統是嘗試運用可觸式擴增實境介面技術所發展的一種網頁瀏覽系統，將網頁資訊以三度空間的方式呈現出來，並將視覺空間和網頁空間直接重疊在真實世界中，形成一種資訊化空間。當使用者在這種可觸式AR互動資訊化空間裡瀏覽資訊時，資訊的呈現是以一種方便識別整體架構的形式呈現出來的，透過設計過的AR操控介面，預期讓資訊的瀏覽可以同時提供概括性和細節性兩種不同範圍的資訊；另外，因為可以透過控制實體物件的方式來與虛擬資訊互動，使用者可以直覺地和網頁資訊互動，並且讓使用者透過資訊的各種屬性(包括真實屬性和虛擬屬性)來汲取(access)資訊。
在 目前的「ExploAR」雛型中，使用者將想要瀏覽的網站之資料(包括圖片、階層關係、各頁面、網址等等) 匯入到本系統中，系統便會將網站的呈現方式轉化為如表 之3D呈現方式。在不需要鍵盤滑鼠的情況下，使用者透過控制一個實體Marker的方式可以瀏覽網站中的資訊，並且可以在使用者預設的瀏灠器軟體中開啟網 頁。未來方向是將系統朝自動化擷取網站資訊，以獨立瀏覽器方式呈現。

介面評估:
除了製作雛型系統，後續研究也為這個介面做了也許不是很標準的使用性評估(Usability Evaluation)，所謂的使用性評估是使用性工程(Usability Engineering)裡一門解決使用者與產品介面問題的學問。我的方法首先採用可以獲得客觀量化資料的績效量測法（Performance Measures），對獲得的量化資料做比較，便可以大致了解使用者完成任務之速度上的差異，這些數據也被用來簡單分析介面操作上存在的問題，然後在使用者接受績效量測法的時候也將一併進行回溯測試法（Retrospective Testing），了解使用者的想法、導致錯誤原因、選單操作的反應時間、操作步驟、使用者猶豫時間…等互動情形，以及介面進行中的實際操作情形等。
Introduction:
The research that use Tangible Augmented Reality Interface to develop a sitemap browsing system, and present an Augmented Reality prototype: ExploAR. With this prototype, we explore the possibility of expressing webpage information in 3D fashion and combine the physical space with the web space. When browse in the new form of web information space, the sitemap is presented and organized as a structure in which the unity concept is easier to be recognized. And by using a physical interface, the manipulation of accessing webpage information becomes more intuitive.Besides, we use the methods of Usability Engineering to evaluate the feasibility of ExploAR and analysis the usability problems, the result of evaluation provides us reference of system modification. According to the findings of our study, there are three benefits applying ExploAR. First, in many cases it can let users to find webpage they want sooner. Second, AR interface make the manipulation more efficient. Third, during the operation users feel pleasure.
